We operate a daily legal advice  telephone line, staffed by legally trained workers. This line is staffed Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, and an answer phone is operational if the lines are all busy, and for out of hours. All messages left will be returned the same day if at all possible.

Our advice line can give legal and practical support around  a range of issues, and can be used by individual women or by organisations.

We offer advice and information on the following:

• Calling the Police and prosecuting abusers
• Individual protection (injunctions)
• Remaining safe in your own home
• Issues regarding children and finances
• Criminal injuries compensation
• Support at Court
• Access to solicitors
• Referrals to other organisations
• Advice around what to do if you are being forced into a marriage against your will
